Curling Olympic Medalist 2022 Visit to ESBSP

On August 5th, we received a visit from two Olympic athletes: Sérgio Mitsuo Vilela, member of the Brazilian Curling Team, and Stefania Constantini, medalist of the Italian Women’s Curling Team, who won the Gold medal at the Beijing 2022 Olympic Games.

She shared with us some of her personal history and her trajectory in the sport. Our 6th, 7th and 8th graders were delighted.

To end this meeting, we set up, in partnership with Arena Ice Brasil, a Curling arena, an ice competition that consists of throwing stones at targets on the ground. Players need to play a kind of “chess game.” The activity provided a lot of fun for our students.
